Yoyo Bear Spy Adventure Card Variations
So far there are seven variants of the Spy cards - 3, 15, 24, 36, 37, 45 and 46.
3. Queen's Bedroom
This variation is very subtle. The original version features a purple blob on the end the mouse's whisker. In the revised version, it has been removed. This was probably caused by the addition of two windows to the wall, at some point in the design.
15. Tikal, Guatemala
In the original version, bear is missing a button on his jacket - it has only 3 buttons. In the revised version, he has four.
24. Ayers Rock/Uluru, Australia
The original version of this card was titled Ayers Rock, and the new version of the card Uluru. I must confess, that I have never heard of Uluru, but I do know of Ayers Rock. Uluru is the aboriginal name, and Ayers Rock is the name given to it by Ernest Giles when he discovered it in 1872. Thank you to Liz Suggitt for spotting this one, and sending me a scan.
33. Yungas Road, Bolivia
The original version of this card was shows Bear wearing a black hat and cape. The later version shows a grey hat and cape. Thank you to Lee English for spotting this one, and sending me a scan.
36. Castle Frankenstein, Germany
The variation here involves the text on the back, where the revised version omits the repeated word "Frankenstein".
45. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
The original version of this card has a secret code that shows a pair of binoculars, when revealed by the spy glass. The corrected version shows a padlock. Thank you to Mark Andrews spotted the error on this card and 46.
46. Greenland, Arctic Circle
The original version of this card has a secret code that shows a padlock, when revealed by the spy glass. The corrected version shows an eye.
........ if anyone spots any more, please email me, and I'll add them to the site.
